Apply Now — Deadline: 26 April 2026The Aga Khan University's Reciprocal Virtual Internship Programme (AKU-RVIP) provides AKU students with one-of-a-kind cross-cultural learning opportunities.
The AKU-RVIP aims to build professional skills, advance academic knowledge, and promote equitable and innovative modes of mobility for students across all AKU campuses by providing access to international virtual opportunities with AKU's partner institutions.
Participate in international, real working environments from the safety of home through remote internships.
Add to your resume a certificate outlining all professional development training and internship projects completed.
Supporting you through structured programming, professional advising, and guided online trainings.
Students are fully supervised and supported as they gain institutional knowledge from within a chosen career field.
Webinars and workshops with AKDN master trainers to equip you with relevant knowledge and skills.
Expand your network through organized engagements with our community of interns, students, and mentors across the globe.
Everything you need to know about how the programme is structured — designed for flexibility and maximum impact.
Project-based work that is manageable, doable, and can be accomplished remotely.
12 weeks of structured, immersive virtual internship experience.
Minimum 15 hours per week to ensure meaningful engagement and learning.
Weekly meetings and engagements conducted on Zoom for seamless connectivity.
Unpaid internships; however, you may earn internship credits subject to your academic entity's criteria.
Research, resource development, academic/report writing, and communications, amongst others.
