CM Punjab IT Internship Program 2026 – Paid Internship for IT Graduates (Rs. 50,000 Stipend)
The Chief Minister IT Internship Program 2026 is a major initiative launched by the Government of Punjab to empower young IT graduates with practical industry experience and professional skills. The program is being implemented in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).
This initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry requirements by providing fresh graduates with hands-on experience in leading IT companies.
Program Overview
The CM Punjab IT Internship Program is designed to enhance the employability of IT graduates by offering paid internships and professional mentorship. Selected interns will work with technology companies, gain exposure to real projects, and develop market-relevant digital skills.
The program not only supports youth employment but also contributes to strengthening the digital ecosystem of Punjab.
Internship Details
- Duration: 5 Months
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 50,000 for interns
- Support for IT Companies: Rs. 12,500 per intern
- Total Internships: 2,000 positions
Participants will receive mentorship, industry exposure, and the opportunity to build practical skills needed for careers in the technology sector.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Education:
Minimum 16 years of education in one of the following or related fields:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Cyber Security
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data Science
- Telecom & Networking
- Graphic Designing
- Animation & Multimedia
- Business Information Technology
- Computer Networking
- Information Systems
- Mobile Computing & Information Systems
- Remote Sensing & GIS
Other Requirements:
- Must have graduated within the last 4 years
- Punjab domicile required
- Must be currently unemployed
- All genders are eligible
